Position: VP Product Marketing & Consumer Experience - $1,000 Referral Reward

Do you have online product experience AND the ability to translate vision into action to make Firstgiving an indispensable part of fundraising and donation to non-profits for fundraiser and donors alike? We're looking for an experienced leader to ‘own' consumer experience, usability, product marketing/management and strategy on firstgiving.com. You will work alongside the entire Firstgiving team to ensure that all consumers using Firstgiving have a compelling experience and become our greatest sales and marketing assets
.
-You will identify and lead consumer strategy. You have experience in growing an internet business virally and organically. You will ensure that Firstgiving's service delights consumers using it so that they return and bring others to it. You will focus on how the product meets the needs of our users and provide a vision for how our products will evolve to meet user needs and fulfill Firstgiving's mission.

-Viral growth and user experience are central to your focus. You will own the fundraiser and donor user experience on Firstgiving's web site. You will be focused on all aspects of the Firstgiving user experience including our communication with the end user and our ongoing relationship with individual users. You will need a proven eye for design and messaging as well as an analytical approach to determining what is effective.
oViral spread (enabling our users to effectively spread the word about Firstgiving)
oConsumer user experience
oConsumer usage & retention
oConsumer communication (onscreen, product based email, etc)

-You will play a leadership role in managing and growing Firstgiving. You are an energetic and mature leader with an entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to seeing the big picture you will also feel comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done (we are still a small company). We believe that a good leader facilitates, motivates and collaborates. Requirements:
5+ years professional management experience
MBA or other graduate degree preferred
Excited by the prospect of working in an innovative, fast moving, high growth environment
Highly-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic
Confident and articulate communicator
Leadership. Must have a proven track record at recruiting, organizing, and motivating teams.
